White Oranda with Red Cap

This variety has been well known since ancient times. It is short and broad, and the whole body is pure white and reflective. There is a red sac on the head shooting up high, either square or round, which looks like the red crown of cranes and only appears on the top, hence the name. The tailfin is big and longer than the body and looks quite elegantly and superior than others when swimming, like cranes dancing elegantly. Those with stout and square sacs in flush color are of top grade. It is difficult to pass the screening criteria for this variety, and there are very few ones of best quality among reproduced progenies. Since it is a sort of one-in-a-hundred selection, White Oranda with Red Cap is extremely rare and precious, and is outstanding even among high-ranked goldfishes.
