Inner Exhibitions  of Xiyuanpu Garden

Popularizing sciences, spreading scientific thoughts, carrying forward scientific spirits, promoting scientific methods and enhancing the scientific abilities of the Chinese citizens are the bound duties of all Chinese scientific research institutions. Within the botanical garden, we can find signs showing the scientific workers there are devoted to the popularization of sciences everywhere: for example, in the exhibition hall for the history of the botanical garden (Xipu Garden), in the Museum of Rain Forest and National Forest Cultures, in the hotel that like a villa, in meeting rooms of different sizes, in the hall for holding academic lectures, in the tennis court, the swimming pool, the popular science column, the popular science signboards, and in the touching screen; and they all become facilities for the popularization of sciences. In the 1990s, the botanical garden established a popular science guide team, which consists of more than 50 Dai girls. That’s why the botanical garden has won many special honors for their efforts in popularizing sciences.
