Xishuangbanna Tropical Botanical Garden

Xishuangbanna Tropical Botanical Garden is a subordinating unit of the Chinese Academy of Sciences. Ever since it was listed in the technology innovation project of the Chinese Academy of Sciences from 1999, the botanical garden has established an innovation team consists of technical backbones. Besides, based on different fields of study, the team is further divided into 8 groups. In order to satisfy the needs for introducing plants, constructing the garden and popularizing sciences, the botanical garden carried out the second stage reform and established the Department of Gardening and Popular Science Training. The Han, Dai, Hani, Tujia, Yao, and Jinuo employees from more than 20 provinces such as Yunnan, Sichuan, Guizhou, Jiangsu, Liaoning, Beijing and Shanghai are now working very hard in the tropical botanical garden and they have all contributed their youth and sweat to the development, use and protection of the tropical plant resources of China.
