What Insects Look Like?
The body of an insect consists of the head, the thorax and the abdomen, which are separately the center of senses, the movement center and nerves, and production center and visceral organs; insects have a pair of antennae, two pairs of wings, and three pairs of legs; the chitin bones are their armor to protect their bodies; different growing and developing stages of insects include eggs, larvae, pupae and adults; each stage has its different shapes and physiological functions; because insects have surprising adaptation and reproduction ability, they become the most prosperous specie among all living creatures on earth.
Insects hold an important position in nature. They are an important and indispensable part in the food chain of all living creatures. There won't be the diversification of living creatures without insects. Insects have close relations with the living and economic activities of mankind. Many insects are the assistants or enemies of human beings in production and living. A summery of the relation in-between mankind and insects is to promote the benefits of insects and to press down the harms caused by insects.
