Bird Singers and Birds of the Night
Swallows, sparrows, mynahs, butcherbirds, crows, magpies, hill tits and brows have well-developed syrinx. They can utter complicate and agreeable voices; therefore, they are called birds of singing.
Some birds like to live in woods; some like to live near the fields of the villagers; and some birds are always flying in the sky. Most birds go out during daytime; while night owls and nightingales only go out during the night. Because of the difference in their habitat, the shapes and habits of birds change a lot. The feet and bills of birds can best illustrate their living conditions and their food structures. Based on the morphological charts of the birds, we can comprehend their basic habitat and their foods.
